Leatherhead Choral Society is a friendly and sociable amateur mixed voice choir of about 55 singers, based in the town of Leatherhead, Surrey.

We were founded in 1928 and perform one to two major concerts a year in addition to our annual appearance at the Leith Hill Musical Festival in the Spring.

In recent years the Society has blossomed, extending our repertoire beyond the classical European tradition to include music inspired by singing traditions around the World. We sometimes sing a cappella, and sometimes with instruments of all types from piano, harp or drums to large ensembles.

We have recently recorded a CD, and next year are planning our first "tour" abroad, with lots more exciting activities planned.

We always welcome new voices and we don't audition. So if you have a love of music and enjoy singing, why not come and join us?

We rehearse on Monday evenings from 7:45 to 9:45 pm at Christ Church (United Reformed), Epsom Road, Leatherhead.
