About the event

LCS and musical director Ian Assersohn are joined by regular accompanist Gareth Giles, a group of amazing young musicians and the superb Premiere String quintet for an evening of gorgeous, ethereal music performed in the beautiful setting of St. Pauls Church Dorking.

The programme includes the stunning Requiem by Gabriel Fauré and a modern requiem by rising star Matthew Colleridge. Matthew's beautiful work has found fame on Classic FM and is rapidly establishing itself as a modern classic.

The amazing young Albanian/Irish cellist Jayden Lamcellari has made Colleridge's requiem his own in a number of performances and we are delighted to have him playing with us at this event. Also at the start of their careers, our vocal soloists have already enjoyed great success and are undoubtedly names to watch. You won't want to miss this concert.
