What We Do

Our year is divided into three terms coinciding with the academic year. Typically in the Autumn term we perform a concert towards the end of November and a Family Christmas concert. The Spring term is devoted to the Leith Hill Musical Festival which takes place in April and the Summer term will lead up to a further concert towards the end of June.

In our concerts we range from a cappella through to singing with professional orchestra and soloists. We also collaborate with other choral societies and children's choirs. Once in a while, instrumentalists from within the choir will perform a spot. We cover a wide range of musical styles including major choral works from the classical canon, contemporary choral music, folk and jazz inspired pieces, and pieces from musical theatre.

This year we are travelling to Mons for Remembrance Sunday where we will be joining with orchestral ensembles from Belgium and Canada in the Remembrance Day Ceremonies.

Rehearsals are varied, hard work, and fun. We run occasional workshops where you can improve your singing skills.

Amongst our musical activities we also fit in some social events ,  quiz nights and parties.
