Leith Hill Festival 2024 competition news
AND THE WINNER IS...
At this year's spring festival competition held, as always, in Dorking Halls, LCS was thrilled to emerge as winner in the Unaccompanied Song category, joint winner in the Living Composer category, and winner of the Highest Aggregate mark for our day. We also took home the prizes for the Highest Aggregate mark of the Festival and the Highest Individual mark over the two days. We also placed second in the Accompanied Song and Ensemble classes. Congratulations to all those who took part and thank you to all our supporters for your encouragement and congratulations.
Leatherhead Choral Society
Leatherhead Choral Society is a dedicated and friendly mixed-voice choir which has been rehearsing and performing since 1928.
LCS has flourished under the leadership of its long-serving Musical Director, Ian Assersohn, and is now one of the most successful and well-loved non-auditioned choirs in the area.
Sing With Us
We welcome new members in every voice part although right now we are particularly interested in encouraging basses and tenors along. Why not pay us a visit and find out why people love singing with LCS?
We rehearse on Thursday evenings during term time from 7:45pm to 9:45pm at the Leatherhead Methodist Church.
